Understanding Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a safe, hands-on, therapeutic health care approach that assists patients with pain relief and pain management by targeting the source of symptoms such as pain in the back, neck, and joints. Over time, your body is exposed to many factors that can cause misalignments in the spine, which, in turn, can result in varying levels of pain and discomfort. These factors can include severe cases such as automobile accidents or sports injuries, or can be everyday tasks like prolonged sitting, bending, or standing. Chiropractic adjustments align the spine and return mobility to the joints, which can relieve the pain associated with these issues.
What chiropractic care is not
While procedures like surgery and medication are intrusive and costly, chiropractic methods are not invasive and have been known to produce tremendous results in afflicted patients; often avoiding surgeries and other harsh alternatives.
Chiropractic therapy is also not a cure for pain, but rather it is a treatment and prevention approach to disorders and misalignments in the mechanical systems of the body. Proper adjustments realign these systems, and allow your body to recuperate and heal itself from pain and other conditions.
